212- Interstellar Era (2)
212- Interstellar Era (2)
Seeing the description reminded Dian of the hardship Tatsumi had to endure before acquiring it.He felt that this transcendent ability should not even be possible, and yet Tatsumi did it nonetheless. He sighed with relief after seeing the effort his Star Child had put in bear fruit.
Then Dian tried to do the ability in the Planet Master Space. The white space trembled, and then multicolored light appeared around Dian as he conjured up an imitation of Dragonsbane, slicing at the air in front of him.
Dian could see the spatial fabric being broken, causing a spatial tear to appear.
“As expected of the current strongest ability. Three Thousand Blade Intent is really living up to its name. This is the Three Thousand Blade Intent forming a world each, meaning there are Three Thousand Worlds filled with such blade intent.” Dian analyzed the ability and knew that this would be Tatsumi’s strongest ability so far.
Then Dian repaired the broken spatial fabric, and the spatial tear disappeared from the Planet Master Space. Dian blinked; he felt that his slice was stronger than when Tatsumi did it.
“Right. It is because I have pure energy that I can do this.” Dian realized the issue and then let out a smile.
Planet Master Space was a separate space from the reality in which events on the planets and the star systems occurred. That was why Dian was so confident in trying to test the new transcendent ability in that space.
Even if the spatial layers and fabrics were broken, he could just repair them back to normal. Dian looked at the repair progress of the spatial tear and then saw that as it got closer to the source of the slice, the slower the spatial tear healed.
“Hmm, the power of Three Thousand Blade Intent is really hard to deal with. If it hit the physical body directly, I think even the regeneration power will be affected by the Blade Intent if the number is that much.” Dian could imagine it.
The poor individual who would dare to confront Tatsumi now would be miserable.
“But if it hit the consciousness…will the effect be worse, actually?” Dian considered this to be the second effect of the injury caused by the Three Thousand Blade Intents.
For Dian, it was negligible, but for the lifeform who had developed sentience, it would be quite deadly since the consciousness would be severed and the mind and body bond would be broken.
The blade that can sever the intangible- that was Dian’s assessment of the ability. Enhanced with this ability, even the ones who could resurrect would be severed from their resurrection method.
Dian thought about it and extrapolated the core of the ability.
Then he cleaned up the space, which even included the remnant blade intent, making the pure white space tranquil once again. He took a deep breath to feel and perceive the Three Thousand Blade Intent.
Then Dian let out a presence, the presence of a supreme being. Along with the Three Thousand Blade Intent that slowly transformed in Dian’s hand since he had all the current knowledge of the entire human race, he tried to change it into the Three Thousand Worlds state.
His presence grew bigger and bigger that Leif and Ghylea, who were used to Dian’s presence the most, felt strange. They also realized that Dian’s eyes slowly grew indifferent, and he then swept his hand, and multicolored light scattered in all directions.
The space quaked as Dian released the Three Thousand Worlds state. The Planet Master Space, which grew along with its master, was quaking greatly.
Even Chikara who was watching over her race’s development, Frie, who was overseeing everything, and the others who were safeguarding the life-bearing planets were disturbed and had to look at Dian, who felt completely different from usual.
“Please don’t use that ability in this space. It is disturbing the others!” Frie wailed as she felt the pressure of the Three Thousand Worlds clearly. The suffocating feeling of powerlessness crept onto every single entity in that space.
The Planet Master Space was unimaginably huge but even then it almost could not contain the Three Thousand Worlds state that Dian used.
“Sorry, I will cancel it now.” Dian said with an apologetic expression. Then, with his will, he canceled the Three Thousand Worlds state, returning it to the Three Thousand Blade Intent.
Seeing that multicolor light around Dian made the others know that humanity took another large step in their transcendence path.
“What even is that? My very being is shaken.” Chikara commented.
“That is the developed state from the ability that my Star Child acquired.” Dian explained shortly.
“Developed state? So does that mean its basic state is what you are currently doing?” Smirth asked for details.
“Yes. As you know, the civilization has known numerous intents behind weapons. Well, he just developed a way to strike those intangible and those who use the resurrection method to be killed. That is called Three Thousand Blade Intent, which he based on his entire knowledge depository of the Blade Intent.” Dian replied with a smirk.
“Wow, so you can battle against those annoying opponents now?” Chikara became excited. As a being who loved combat, every single incremental increase of combat ability was something exciting for her.
She then pestered Dian over the basic form and the developed state.
“Basically, you changed the Blade Intent into the form of the world. I presume that Tatsumi synthesized his experience of world creation with his blade intent, creating this Three Thousand Blade Intent. But he also has the developed state called Three Thousand Worlds. Basically, it is the secret technique.” Dian demonstrated to Chikara and the others with the replica of Dragonsbane how the ability worked.
Multicolored light was appearing on the body and the blade of the replica Dragonsbane before Dian enhanced it into the Secret Technique: Three Thousand Worlds.
Then, with a swing of his arm, the entire Planet Master Space was opened and divided right in the middle, causing it to be exposed to the reality outside for a moment before Dian manually recovered the space to its usual state.
“No! Don’t do it just to make a point.” Frie almost screamed but then sighed with resignation.
“Don’t worry. He knows what he is doing.” Leif tried to cheer her up but was met with her resentful glare.
“As long as he is responsible for his actions, I see no reason to worry.” Ghylea came over to watch after he had done with his immediate duty.
Frie went silent as she tried to understand where their confidence came from. But she also understood not to pop the fun from Dian. She calmed down a lot and tried to understand that this was actually a way for Dian to show off the rapid progress of his races and civilization.
“I guess you are right. I am too sensitive this time.” Frie looked at the distant Dian and could not help but remember her role in all of this.
“I know you are meant to be the one who has to deal with almost everything but our leader here is that individual.” Leif giggled and patted Frie on her shoulder.
“Just…please don’t do it often.” Frie swallowed her admonition since she saw the excitement on Dian’s face as he showed the ability.
She knew that this ability meant that the civilization had some means of resistance against the intangible and the resurrected ones so she should not protest.
But her instinctive reaction almost overwhelmed her senses.
“I know. You have been of great help to me.” Dian suddenly appeared in front of Frie, nodding with understanding.
“I am just so happy that I feel like I am freed from my worries. But my attitude and actions only cause you to worry. For that, I apologize.” Dian then bowed ninety degrees to her.
“No, you don’t need to do that. I am just-“ As Frie wanted to say something more, Dian closed in on her and closed her mouth, preventing her from saying anything anymore.
“No need to say that. It is just technicalities. In fact, haven’t I treated you and the others well?” Dian asked.
Frie nodded. She seemed to understand what Dian truly meant by his actions: that he regarded them as colleagues despite the fact that in the Planet Master System they were described in a subordinate-superior relationship.
Barring betraying Dian, they could do things that could be helpful to themselves and to Dian. Both worked to his favor since Dian often told his race that they needed to maintain good relations with the other races.
After all, the other races were what allowed the human race to climb higher in this Universe at all.
The others looked at Dian and reluctantly nodded. They had to agree with that statement since it was true. They could not get better treatment from the others, and that was the most likely event. If not for Dian, they would not know that self-dignity was important.
“We have to tell the living beings on every life-bearing planet that the ecosystem is extremely important and not to arbitrarily change things.” Dian added after the full results of the Tournament of Power completely concluded and the beasts and the nymphs all absorbed their current power after checking it with Frie.
“We don’t want our civilization to be destroyed by them and our races, don’t we?” Frie agreed with what Dian had said. She was basically acting as his secretary now.
“As the races and the beings in the wilderness become stronger, the effect on the environment also becomes more apparent. Therefore, we need to resolve the current state of needs by doing something like the previous Tournament of Power.” Dian stated.
“For the civilization, they need to be rigorous in their search for better alternatives that won’t destroy the ecosystem and the existing balance. So I told my Star Child to spread this information to the higher-ups and the decision-makers of the Federation.
“For the beings in the wilderness, they need to resolve large conflicts in the Tournament of Power while letting the small-scale conflicts be naturally resolved by themselves. This is the first time that we have coordinated so much for our races and the other living beings on the planets we own.” Dian said, a bit long-winded but important to note.
“That is why you want to resolve this as much as possible, to be able to maintain the environment as is and even not only preserve it, you want to improve upon it.” Leif understood the assignment and said this to verify it.
“Yes.” Dian felt gratified for an individual like Leif who understood his thought. But he felt thankful to the others too since the result of the tournament being held was because of the discussion that had taken place with all of them participating and giving ideas.
“I am now thanking you all for the result of the Tournament of Power. You can see that the beasts and the nymphs has absorbed their rewards and becomes stronger.” Dian snapped his finger and the system panel appeared in front of everyone else.
In the system panel windows, there appeared to be various beasts and nymphs who were becoming stronger due to the pure energy that Dian had rewarded.
“They are growing along with our people in the civilization.” Mazdari commented as he almost screeched.
“That’s a must. The life-bearing planet should have its own living beings to defend it in case of an invasion. But what I am concerned about is the need to propagate the living beings on the other planets.” Asta was now slightly better at expressing himself so he could say a few of his own mind.
“If you want to make this reality a better place, don’t just develop yourself. You need to develop the other aspect as well. Otherwise, it will only harm others if you are the only one who get all the benefits.” Dian smirked but did not explain further.
“Remember the Zipper Model that I gained from Charlene? Where one benefit is also linked to the others’ benefits, and they reinforce each other to be more beneficial? That one?” Dian added.
“Oh, right. There is that.” Arowana remembered it clearly that Dian wanted to develop some kind of model for the living Cerulean Human as well as the Nafs in the Afterlife. Apparently, this was that model Dian was propagating in the civilization.
“How does that work again?” Chikara smiled stiffly since she could not catch the detail in one explanation.
“Well, it is like this. When one gains from their insight, the Nafs in the Afterlife who get to connect with one also gain new knowledge. The new knowledge then is spread to the others in the network of the Library of Consciousness, leading to the other living human to be able to draw similar conclusions. Everyone will benefit from this model of knowledge sharing.” Frie patiently explained to Chikara.
“Oh, I see. My Hive Mind can do something similar so I did not notice at first. Thank you for explaining stuff to me.” Chikara replied while smiling.
Seeing Chikara so cheerful yet still retaining her position as the god of her race made Frie think about the past a bit.
Frie had this thought as she looked at Chikara and the others.
“No need for thanks. I am your colleague, so I need you to be up to date with everything that has been happening in our civilization’s territory.” Frie said while shaking her head.
The new knowledge then was propagated and then every one who had studied those in depth would suddenly feel like they were enlightened. Well, it was with the help of the Nafs in the Afterlife that they could connect the concept and thus create something similar to the other people at the other end of the Cerulean Planet or even interplanet.
“Then to the next course of action. Expansion of the Library of Consciousness range.” Dian suddenly raised another topic to be pondered on.
“The Library of Consciousness is currently enveloping the entire Virya Star System. But that is not enough, as our scope of range has increased to be Interstellar-level, meaning we have to expand the scope of the Afterlife Model.” Dian said while almost feeling exasperated.
The increase meant that he needed more personnel for handling the Afterlife Arena. Since that place was basically the place for farming Medals for his Afterlife Model to be used with.
“Right. I see that it can become a problem as well. So what’s the plan?” Ghylea oversaw the Undead Secret Realm as well as the Library of Consciousness. Often Dian had to delegate some duty of managing the Library of Consciousness to Ghylea so he questioning the method was a way to let Dian have a general direction for the Afterlife Model he had.
“What else? Of course we need to advance in the Afterlife Arena. I have told those Nafs to hold back their achievement but now that we need to gain some Medals, we might as well go for it.” Dian stated with confidence.
After Tatsumi paved the way for Transcendents to get to the Planetary Realm, the others in the Library of Consciousness also tried to emulate it to see what percentage of success his method would be. Surprisingly, it went as high as a ninety percent chance. But to all of them, including Tatsumi, it was far from satisfactory.
Therefore, they developed the breakthrough method again and again before being satisfied at reaching a ninety-nine point three percent chance to break through to the Planetary Realm. As for the development of the Planetary Realm Transcendents, Tatsumi was on his way to developing those.
The first Three Heavenstages were already mapped out, but from the Fourth Heavenstage above, he was still trying to pave the way so that the only thing the others had to do was just to follow him.
That was the reason why this time he was helped by Ame. She became so delighted to be able to help him in his endeavor.
Dian saw it and felt bittersweet for Tatsumi. Someone with such an unfortunate fate met with so fortunate girls who crossed their paths. But he was worried for one thing. The cause of Tatsumi's trials and tribulations in Tatsumi was not fading. No, it was slowly accumulating, starting to form something that even Dian and possibly Tabitha had no way to intervene in.
Although He was sure that Tabitha could intervene, he was more worried about the consequences of doing so. After all, if nothing was done and Tatsumi was left on his own device, he would reach the peak eventually but it was filled with tragedies.
Honestly, Dian did not like it either but there were things that you could not get rid of, or a lack of understanding caused the tragedy.
But he started to understand one thing. The tribulation in Tatsumi’s life was the result of the entire human race’s negative energy. That was also why the moment he existed, the negative energy slowly gathered around him.
Increasing his strength early as a transcendent helped him but eventually the progress of this negative energy was going to catch up to him in progress. Pioneering a transcendent path was taking longer than desired and that was normal.
But Dian did not even tell anyone about this. His observation was also noted by the Cerulean Planet Spirit but He ordered her not to tell anyone else; only after getting his permission could she tell others.
Even so, He still needed Tatsumi’s help.
“You want us to go further in the Afterlife Arena?”
Tatsumi suddenly felt the call from the Father God and he responded.
“Yes. You and the others should prepare. We will go there soon. I will notify you when it is.” Dian responded favorably.
