218- Time of Preparation
218- Time of Preparation
For Tatsumi, the time that had passed felt like something similar to a preparation time for another Star Battle. Since he had witnessed numerous Star Battles over the previous years, he knew this time would be no different. Therefore, he doubled his efforts to discover things on both the Science and Transcendent sides.
He also put effort into ruminating and formulating a method to break through to Rank 3, trying to perfect it so that more transcendents could break through safely. Furthermore, he also had to map out the Planetary Realm heavenstage.
The first to third heavenstage was for the planet inside the lower dantian to be filled with transcendent energy. That was the first step.
The fourth to the sixth heavenstage was for the planet to be multiplied, from one to two and from two to three. This was the second step.
The seventh to ninth heavenstage was for multiple planets to be orbited around the center of the lower dantian. Tatsumi had referred to the center of the lower dantian as the place where the next realm would be called even. This third step was the preparation for the star to be born in the center of the lower dantian; fueling it might also affect the middle and upper dantian.
But since Tatsumi had connected the three, the effect on him became so much more apparent and obvious.
He was in his meditation room in his home, sitting cross-legged and controlling his breathing while doing self-introspection.
He could see transcendent energy pathway along the entire body, parallel to his blood vessels. He could also see the eight extraordinary points in his body, which were the Eight Inner Hidden Gates inside his body. Three of the points were developed since he could open them.
He could also feel the three dantians filled to the brim with transcendent energy, stable but could unleash powerful force. Inside the lower dantian, he could see two planets inside orbiting the center of the lower dantian.
‘Even now, I am still at the Fourth Heavenstage of the Planetary Realm, meaning that I am stagnating. Well, the energy of the Cerulean Planet is insufficient to fuel a transcendent of my caliber even now.’ Tatsumi thought.
Even with Charlene helping to develop the Sacred Trees of the Elves numerous times, the density, quality, and quantity of the transcendent energy were still not enough to birth a natural Planetary Realm transcendent.
Therefore, Tatsumi needed to be conservative in utilizing his power since the transcendent energy spent would be greater than recovered.
Furthermore, the impact of the Planetary Realm transcendent on the ordinary planet was enough to destroy the surface of that planet.
That was just to show how much density a Planetary Realm transcendent had. Therefore, the Cerulean Planet’s space was reinforced so that the Planetary Realm transcendent could at least move around.
“I need to conserve my expenditure of the Ether. Use it sparingly and try to develop more of the entire planet since the lifespan of the Planetary Realm transcendent can reach 10.000 years at the very least.” Tatsumi murmured.
Then he breathed in and the transcendent energy around him was absorbed. Not just around him but the entire surface of the planet felt the attractive force that pulled the transcendent energy toward Giol City, specifically to Tatsumi.
After absorbing it, Tatsumi then filtered the impurities and expelled them from his body. The pure transcendent energy was then stored inside his lower dantian.
“I need to go to the bath right now.” After seeing that the impurities were being expelled so much it covered his entire body, Tatsumi felt dirty and then went to the bathroom with a towel to purify himself the traditional way.
After doing that, he also cleaned his clothes using his simple daily transcendent technique, Cleanse Spell.
It was a simple but powerful spell for everyday use. It basically washed the clothes or anything you wanted to cleanse, then dry it and even disinfected them from any bacteria and microbes that caused body odor.
Then Tatsumi wore the same clothes again and went back into the meditation room.
In the meditation room.
This time, Tatsumi used the Light Transfer Device to receive the latest intelligence all at once since it would be easier for him this way than to read numerous reports.
“So the Sea Sovereign has been absent from the movement of the sea all this time. Will it become the first natural Planetary Realm?” Tatsumi wondered after receiving the intel.
He had received a lot of verified information, and this was one of them. Other than that, he had received another piece of information.
“The density of the transcendent energy of the Cerulean Planet has reached a critical threshold.” Tatsumi placed his index finger on his forehead as he ruminated on this information.
The meaning was obvious. The Ether in the atmosphere as well as in the soil and underground had reached a threshold at which the amount could not be increased anymore.
“But we should be able to transform it into a more purified Ether.” Tatsumi then placed the Light Transfer Device back in its previous place and got out of the meditation room.
“Have you received the latest information?” Tatsumi asked both Charlene and Ame.
“What’s wrong?”
“It’s like this. The Ether in the air has reached a critical threshold and cannot be increased any further. It has completely saturated the entire planet from the atmosphere to the underground; all of them have been filled with the Ether to the brim.” Tatsumi sighed as he said this.
Charlene blinked her eyes before she sensed with the mental scan around them, specifically to detect the amount of Ether in the air and underground to verify what Tatsumi had said.
Ame also did a similar thing.
Only after feeling that for themselves did they finally realize that what Tatsumi had said was true.
“We need to compress the Ether in the air. With the space reinforced, it should be possible. Hmm…interesting idea. Perhaps with my formation, it can be done.” Charlene then prepared the materials for her large-scale formation that covered the entire house.
Ame and Tatsumi spontaneously helped with the preparation. The outermost of the formation was the Space-Reinforcing Formation, while the inner part was the Ether Gathering Formation that Charlene had developed for the Formation Master job.
Although the two were not Formation Masters, they could still recognize the formation being used. Charlene seamlessly fused the two formations, one simple and one complicated, into a new one.
This new formation would gather the Ether in the surroundings to it; then the second formation would compress the Ether into a hypercondensate form. Charlene was calculating things in her mind before she turned on the formation.
This calculation was done within seconds but for Charlene, a while had passed. She wanted to make sure the safety of this formation beforehand in case things did not go the way she intended.
“Sister Charlene, are you done with the calculation?” Ame asked with concern.
After all, this formation would be used right on their house as the center. If something went wrong, then their house would be the collateral damage.
“Done.” Charlene breathed out as she placed the items used in forming a formation. These items were familiar to both Ame and Tatsumi.
Then Charlene clapped her hands and activated the formation by channeling her Ether. She also used the Three-Style Breathing Technique, Solid Breath, to reinforce herself since the usage of the formation needed her personal intervention to kickstart.
Then the Ether surrounding the house started to be attracted to the formation. The Space-Reinforcing Formation was activated, causing the Ether to condense so extremely that it became heavy and had more substance to it.
Tatsumi looked at the Ether in the formation and could not help but wonder about the form the condensed Ether would take.
‘Perhaps this is something the Sacred Tree of the Elves will do but Charlene creates it as a formation. She even personally intervenes in case the formation is faulty. This is revolutionary.’ Tatsumi thought as he looked at the condensed Ether.
Tatsumi absorbed one into his body and he felt the effect immediately. The condensed Ether was heavier but of higher quality than the usual Ether he had absorbed.
Then he guided the condensed Ether into his lower dantian, where there were planets, and it caused a ripple in Tatsumi’s body.
Ame also had a similar reaction. Surprise was apparent on both of their faces. Then they glanced at each other and realized that this was the breakthrough in the transcendent energy.
“When will you stop interfering?” Tatsumi asked Charlene with concern. After all this time, she was still at the center of the formation, setting things up for the formation to run automatically.
“After this final adjustment, of course.” Charlene then placed a stake made of the Scared Tree’s wood in the middle of the formation before wiping out her sweat that appeared on her forehead.
After that, she stepped out from the center of the formation and Tatsumi went to her side and helped wipe the sweat from her forehead.
“You should be tired. Please rest.” Tatsumi said. Charlene nodded and then went to rest for a while.
Charlene then took a moment to rest before writing her thesis of the formation she had just made. This formation would then be used on a large scale and cause the Ether in the Cerulean Planet to be condensed so much that it could afford to increase its quantity.

Seeing this phenomenon, Frie alerted Dian about it.
“This is something that will happen sooner or later. But…” Dian had this matter looked at closely. He then saw that this was a prelude to the technological explosion which would propel the civilization toward the middle of the T4 Technology Tree.
[Name: Artificial Black Hole Generator
Rank: T4
Description: The civilization’s understanding of the black hole allowed them to replicate the black hole, one of the celestial bodies, on a scale never seen before. It can also be used as a weapon of mass destruction as well as for information storage in which the difficulty of retrieving it was so great.
Future Possible Technology: Black Hole Bullet, Singularity Resonance]
The technology that was unlocked due to the study of the reward from the Abyss Trial now bore fruit. Dian felt that the matter was due to Charlene transforming the Ether into a condensed form, and its quality jumped higher.
Therefore, the transcendent who was facing a bottleneck broke through and their mental state improved further, allowing them to learn more about the topic of Artificial Black Hole.
But Dian also saw that there was additional technology unlocked. This was what allowed the civilization to truly enter the middle of the T4 Technology Tree.
[Name: Large Starport
Rank: T4
Description: The civilization is finally capable of creating a large starport in the void of space. This starport is used to dock, repair, and station the fleet of spaceships there. This also acts as a port in the civilization's sense of the vast universe, which does not have a fixed point.]
Of course, the materials needed to build it were another matter. But what mattered was that the civilization under him could build a Large Starport from now on. This meant that the exploration range for the civilization had increased once again.
Then there was also this.
[Name: Fabricator
Rank: T4
Description: The civilization can finally develop its own fabricator. This includes, but is not limited to, building materials, food and beverages, armament material, etc. As long as you can provide the blueprint for the thing, the fabricator can make it for you.
Further Possible Technology: 3D Printer, Hastened Creation of Things]
Dian could see its usefulness in the civilization. Then Frie said, “These things are suddenly appearing. The civilization has entered a technological explosion.”
To that, Dian responded with a nod and a satisfied smile. With the way the civilization was going, there would be more technological discoveries as well as hope of breaking through to the late T4 Technology Tree.
“Yes. I can see that. But this is just the beginning. With the way the Gling developed as well as the other races’ development, the civilization will surely reach the late T4 Technology Tree.” Dian replied.
With the form that the civilization’s governance had taken, there was no way for the humans to develop themselves. They needed other races to be the source of inspiration to make a better future together.
Although some people were confused as to why the formal claim of the other races was subordinate to the human race, in practice they felt like treating them like fellow people in the same community.
The Hinon Federation did not release any formal statement. Instead, they referred to the words of the Star Child that this was actually the design of the Father God. The Federation was afraid that if they did not designate the other races as subordinate races on paper, it would be too obvious that the other races received the same treatment as any other human.
This problem went back to Dian and the Planet Master System.
Dian thought with remorse at the realization.
This was actually the restriction given to every Planet Master and Dian was no exception. He felt that this was actually a protection for Planet Masters and their races. Dian understood that but still he could only hope that this was what the Universe Council had intended.
Otherwise, this reality he was in would be bleak.
Time flowed without caring for anyone else. By the time Dian knew it, it was already a decade in which the Hinon Federation territory had reached a ten thousandth of the galaxy they were in.
Year Three Hundred Fifty-Five of the Father God Calendar.
The Technology Tree finally reached the late T4 part while the Transcendent Tree had reached late T3 according to the human standard.
“Report meeting starts now.” Dian announced to the Planet Master Space. His voice reverberated throughout the entire space.
One by one, the others appeared.
Leif, Ghylea, Chikara, Frie, Arowana, Mazdari, Goliath, Smirth, Cisor, Halden, Olza and Asta. All of them were present.
Leif had an unwavering trust in Dian along with Ghylea since Dian had proven to them the path toward the peak was possible.
Chikara was just glad to not be devoured and acted sunny. Frie had an exasperated look but beneath that, she had a small smile on her face.
Arowana had a tired look because he needed to manage his own race which had gone into a slight conflict with the Sea Sovereign in the Cerulean Planet.
Mazdari seemed to be ready to present his report at any time and tapped his arm with his finger.
Goliath was innocently looking forward to this time and looked expectantly toward Dian.
Smirth chuckled as he appeared in the space. He glanced at everyone around and blinked his eyes, trying to process everyone’s thoughts.
Cisor let out a screech as he finally finished what had been tasked to him. His race had now been assimilated with the civilization, so this was his way of expressing approval.
Halden was in charge of the new pioneering progress, and he felt the pride of doing so since the effort of expansion was the joint effort of everyone here, but he led them in this.
Olza was in charge of managing the new colonies in the other star systems. She also did this with everyone since every single race wanted to stay in the different star systems and experience the novelties of the other planet and star.
Asta, on the other hand, was in charge of the logistics and support for the entire civilization overall. With the help of Leif and Ghylea, they transitioned from the logistics to the situation of the overall of the civilization’s production and scientific capability.
Seeing that everyone had gathered, Dian opened the meeting.
“As you all know, I have laid out a general plan to you all regarding the development of the civilization. This is because we soon need to be prepared for the special mode of Star Battle.”
Everyone nodded as they were given this instruction the moment Dian came from the Universe Market.
“The better we are in Technology and Transcendent Tree, the better chance of fighting power we have against the other active Planet Masters.” Dian stressed this aspect.
“Now, the condition has been met, all thanks to your effort. For that, I extend my heartfelt gratitude.” Dian said with a solemn expression before he let out white light.
Everyone could feel their existence desired it. Then Dian pointed with his finger and the white light launched from the tip of his index finger toward everyone else.
Everyone knew what this was; the accumulated energy points could be used to increase existence power, and now, Dian used it without hesitation to empower them. This served as a rewarding session after Dian slightly whipped them into submission.
“Ah!” everyone felt that their existence power had increased, and they could do more tasks with it.
“Hmm, that is a good recompense for you. You do a good job and you will get rewarded. Isn’t that basic enough for you to understand?” Dian nodded with satisfaction as he said this.
“You are right, Master.” Leif recovered from his reverie and shook his head before saying this.
Everyone else agreed on that point. Now, they were facing the new Star Battle that would put their races and civilization to the test. They were anticipating that their civilization could even find its own glory in the Star Battle that followed.
“Now that your existence power has increased, let’s work together on the plan for the next Star Battle mode: Galaxy on Fire. I want you all to make plans regarding the victory condition for every path. From Scientific, Transcendent, Conquest, and Diplomatic.” Dian said this while the others started to think about the condition for victory.
